Yoast Care Fund – A motivation for the contribution to the WordPress community
Yoast a leading WordPress SEO plugin company awarded me from Yoast care fund. Yoast care fund is a reward for those who contribute to WordPress in various ways.
Each year Yoast pledges at least $25,000 to Yoast Care and will award approx 50 people per year. Every award-winning person will get $500, a certificate, and an interview on their site.
For this year 2020, I am also awarded from Yoast care fund. Shiva Shanker Bhatta did my nomination for this award and Yoast team selected me. And I would like to thank Shiva Shanker Bhatta for the nomination.
Besides that, I would like to thank the Yoast care team for selecting me for this award.
This is the first-ever award I have ever got from the WordPress community.
I am a full-time WordPress developer and running TemplateSell and WPEntire. TemplateSell is a theme and plugin marketplace. WPEntire is a blog related to WordPress tutorials and product reviews.
This type of award motivates the people who are working to make WordPress even better.
As a free contribution, I have been doing WordPress theme review since 2014. Right now, I am one of the team representatives of the themes team. Also to that, I contribute to Polyglots and help to translate WordPress in Nepali. Besides that, I take part and organize WordPress meetups and WordCamp as well.
In the context of Nepal, we have a very strong WordPress community. More than hundreds of companies are running a WordPress business. Since 2012, WordPress community Nepal is hosting WordCamp each year.
At last, let’s make WordPress even better and make the community even stronger.
